“By the end of your journey, I hope you will wake up every morning knowing your right path and how to move forward in life in accordance with your values.”

These past few weeks, I have been trying to connect readers to my book. I had a particularly positive interaction with a woman I met who has recently begun to pursue spirituality. She was interested in “Year of the Blog” for its strong focus on self-reflection. When I offered her my book for free she eagerly accepted and handed me a small card in a kind act of reciprocity. Written on the card were the words “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo,” which is a Buddhist mantra describing a strong conviction within ourselves to overcome any suffering in our lives. What a kind (and totally unexpected) gesture!
